In Texas History, we learned about Constitution Day, which is today. It is to ensure that the laws that are passed are fair. The part I remember most is that the people elect the leaders who are the ones that make the laws and decide what to do with our country, such as starting wars, ending wars, what to spend the countries money on, and so on.
